  • Oh my...that is scary! I always go there and never seen such a storm, even the waves reaching to the parking lot!! Scary stuff!

  • @54spiritedwill54 Thanks for the comment:) Good luck storm chasing, I have storm chased in AZ and Minnesota:)

  • It is probabley TSUNAMI of Queen Charlotte Islands Earthquake. Because the height of only 3 waves are very high, and runs up violently on the beach. Color of waves are dark because water containes mud.

  • That is interesting information, and there was a 6.5 earthquake on the same day. However, I do not believe a tsunami was genearated. These waves were due to a large pacific storm, and although I only recorded a few of them, there were many more that day of the same height that ravaged the central coast. Thanks for the post, learned a lot about Queen Charlotte Island!

  • @ kaboton:

you don't know what the hell you're talking about

  • dude, its just storm waves. 3 waves, if you knew anything you would know that waves come in sets, of 3+ large waves. and theres no mud in the sea mate.

  • yeah cause the higher the wave is obviously the more water it needs so it has to get it somewhere. kinda like if water was magnetic and you had water on a plate and put a magnet above the water it would rise up and the edges would not have water. Kinda hard to explain though.

  • Definitly storm waves.with a Tsunami, first the sea goes back like a sudden low tide, and when the wave hits, the sea pushes inland behind the wall of water.Totally different phenomenon..

  • this is good i like u make more

  • Thank you for your comment. I understood that there ware many more waves. I'll cancel my comment.
