Surprise!
It's Part 2 of our How To Build a Small Form Factor Mini-ITX HTPC series, a whole lot earlier than you may have expected. Paul sets out to test real-world performance, and throws in some synthetic and gaming benchmarks as well. Temps and power draw were also measured for each test. Enjoy!

  • World of Warcraft ftw

  • Wow that little intel has a higher WEI than my desktop, stupid prebuilt piece of shit!

  • 9:24 what is running on the left is BS

  • @44billbob I have 2 kingston value rams ddr3 1333Mhz and it scores 7.2 in WEI in stock settings. I really suspect there is something wrong in the BIOS configuration.

  • @conyo985 it is because it is 1333. There are different speeds of memory that get more and more expensive. 1333 is on the cheaper side but works fine for a build like this. There are memory sets that are over $200 for the best of the best.

  • @rvasquez6089 that's nice :)

  • I use my phone as remote control option

  • This is what I don't get about the memory WEI scores in both builds, they are low. These are DDR3 Ram in dual channel mode. It should score at least a 7. I suspect the timings aren't configured right or they are low frequency RAM.

  • Paul just raised up his points! Claymore is a bad ass anime!

  • @mintycbo in htpc power useage is important too
