GenderQueer Revolution and Christopher Street West have been cultivating an unprecedented ongoing collaborative relationship that in addition to a year-long organizational mentorship means GenderQueer Revolution made its debut appearance in Los Angeles Pride THIS YEAR during the Parade, on the Empowerment Stage, and all weekend at the Drop-In Zone. GenderQueer Revolution featured performers/presenters/Beings who embodied genderqueer S/spirit in their pieces and their whole Gestalt, their whole Selves.

The vision: Each performer/presenter had space time to do what they would, somehow answering the question, "What does genderqueer (or whatever other words you use to describe your gendergifted, genderqueerriffic self) mean (to me)?" in a provocative, enlightening way through performance and postmodern subversive statements that enlivened, entertained, energized, and also, educated the wider world about genderqueer.

To quote a genderqueer performer,
"[Genderqueer] individuals subvert hegemony simply by living and breathing. Gender fluid and Genderqueer people create change in language. And thus actually, actively create change...consciousness raising at its finest!"
