Funny Dog Trick

Our chocolate lab invented her own funny pet trick. Kona figured out a solitaire version of "play ball".

Funny thing is, just about every time she plays the game, we end up watching her and laughing at her great effort to catch the ball before it "gets away from her". And one day while she was playing, I told her to "be careful" not to let the ball drop to the floor...and "be careful" became the name of the game. If Kona looks a little bored around the house, we just say those magic words and she grabs a toy and starts playing.

Yes, we do have better things to do. But we thought you might enjoy seeing this dog trick.

Yea, she's fun! Today, she tried to play the "careful" game with a towel. It didn't work that great, but she had fun trying.

This dog keeps us laughing. The other day she "showed off" by jumping in the backseat of the car, tennis ball in her mouth, and proceeded to play her game while I drove.

Yes she does. Kona just loves to play games. And she'll play this one with her tennis ball or any of her other toys. She'll even play it with her dog collar when we take it off of her.
