  • Also Vacheron from Sancerre is very interesting. You should taste his Pinot Noir. Yes they do make Pinot in the Sancerre valley and its getting better and better. Try that as well

  • the last one the Bourgeois. I totally agree. In a blind test your guess is overseas meaning NZ or US and too much Oak. I like the MD but its not a classic Sancerre. Mr Bourgeois went furious when I told him that the style is a bit american. Off coarse never say that to a French

    But i prefer the Labaille. Try some of the wines from Bue in Sancerre. I can recommend Crochet and Riffault from Sury an vaux.
