that same stunt was replicated for a scene
in licence to kill for the gas truck showdown between bond and
sanchez and his crew but the classic ad
was great and i give it 20/10

A superb truck, though it was a load of crud originally when fitted with the 6 pot leyland 698NV engine. When fitted with front disc brakes and the Leyland / Cummins 300 (B series) engine, it came into its own, especially when it was re-launched as the LD 45. So good is the frame and chassis, the current DAF LF still uses the original Leyland Terrier / Roadrunner chassis!
