My interview with Ohio Congressman and Democratic Presidential candidate, Dennis Kucinich.

In this second half of the interview, we discuss why his 2008 campaign will succeed where his 2004 campaign failed, and his call to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney. 2008 won't be like 2004.

  • Yeah, I was a gung ho Paul supporter. But now that I've seen a lot of Dennis' vids, I'm probly going to change. It's time to evolve past warmongering and promote peace.

  • Yeah, well it would be kind of nice, but it's nuts to vote for someone just because he's "honest and tells it like it is." I like Ron Paul's candor and "character," but I quite disagree with some of his ideas; so, I probably wouldn't vote for him.

  • Something I wonder about:

Assuming DK was in Congress in '01, did he vote to give Bush the authority to go after the perpetrators of 9/11?

I think his vote on that particular issue would say a lot about his overall position on the use of force in national defense.

  • as much as i like ron paul i dislike all these ron paul fans constantly going RON PAUL REVOLUTION LA LA la...enough please....

  • Ask not what your government can do for you, ask your government to get off our backs. Kucinich seems like a nice honest man, but he's not as smart as Ron Paul, and his rhetoric certainly doesn't get me excited like Ron Paul's talk of Liberty and restoring the constitution. If you like what Kucinich is saying, I would suggest checking out Ron Paul. He just makes sense, you'll see, go ahead, do a search, it only takes one watch and soon you will join The Revolution as well...

  • Than whom?

  • the thing that gets me about paul is his belief in the free market. I don't get how he can trust a system of greed. corporations will do anything to make an extra buck, not just make better products for lower prices. Otherwise, I'd support paul because he is more charismatic and has a better chance of winning.

  • See, wouldn't someone come across as much more honest and nuanced if they stated that, say, none of the "major" candidates voted against the war? Or mabye that they were one of the "few" to vote against the war? I'd like candidates that were honest about the other candidates. I'd vote for them out of sheer respect for telling it like it is.

  • Paul and Kucinich are drastically different in many regards. Yes, there foreign-policy views are similar (Gravel's there with them, as well), but they've got many glaring difference, too; look at their economics views.

  • Well, they all do that: pretend everyone else is in one group. Gravel's also done it.
