SFA / UH Students for Fair Trade request to meet Aramark re: tomato workers conditions

On March 30, 2009 the University of Houston Students for Fair Trade http://uhfairtrade.org/ requested a meeting with the UH Aramark director of dining services Alisdair McLean. We want to discuss the brand new SFA / CIW http://sfalliance.org/ http://www.ciw-online.org/ campaign to bring justice to the farm workers in and around Immokalee, Florida. The Aramark assistant manager Geoffrey Herbert met us and lied his face off because Aramark did not call us to set an appointment. However, Aramark CEO Joseph Neubauer's admin assistant in Philadelphia, PA did call us and confirm later that day that they received our fax concerning this issue.
