  • Still the most practical of arts

  • Because Krav Maga isn't a martial art boxing is still the best art

  • @TheGearsofwar2010 Krav Maga is the original MMA. Krav Maga is a mixture of boxing, taekwondo, judo and brawling. Its not a Martial Art. Its MMA, UFC before those were created. Israelis created the concept of Mixed Martial Arts but named it Krav Maga most likely for historical reasons, I don't know. Thats why people can't really define it. Its history ahead of its time (if that makes sense).

  • @lsloewen2 you can spend hours arguing about it on the internet but really you need to find a martial art that works for you personally. I've trained in Krav for years and think it's highly effective. A great instructor is also a major factor. I've not seen a quicker, easier or more effective martial art/self defense system than Krav yet.

  • @PastorBenGurion I agree with some of what you said, but do remember there are many variations of Krav, some for military use, some for VIP protection/bodyguard, civilian krav maga, etc. For example, Marine Corps Martial Arts use very similar, if not identicle gun defense/disarm techniques as Krav.

  • @TheGearsofwar2010 FBI, CIA, US Marshals don't use Krav Maga. They were trained on it to learn its technique considering most criminals and terrorists utilize a form of Krav Maga. Krav Maga is not a MartialArt. Its a quick self defense in order to get away. Fed Agencies do not run away they apprehend. KMaga was created in Europe by Gypsies to fight Nazi and Fascist thugs. Their main purpose was the slow down an attack by multiple persons in order to get away.

  • @thegearsofwar2010 weak argument, any instructor that gives a free class to a government agency can claim the agency "uses" the art. The majority of those agencies, especially US ones do not use KM and if they did, video proof would exist. Too bad video proof of KM's effective application doesn't exist. I wonder why.....

  • @lsloewen2 Of course it doesn't work. That's why the Israeli Defence Force, Special Forces, FBI, CIA, US Marshals, Mossad, Shin Bet all use it. Duh.

  • @radar144pt

None of them! Every art has valuable things to teach, but sparring is a must to be ready for a real fight! I have been to a handful of Krav schools and I have only ever seen forms.

  • @lsloewen2 Ok, so what is?
