The F-22 is a top of line dogfighter, but it lacks air-to-ground capabilities and it is a costly machine. One more thing Naval aircraft have to perform the bomber, dog fighter, interception and strike roles. They also have to be easy to maintain and have to be almost impossibly survivable. So don't go talking shit about Naval aircraft and Naval Aviatior. Great video and GO BLUE DIAMONDS!!!!!!!! on my way to becoming part of VFA 146.

the Navy is good at Dog fighting, and kinda good at bombing..... the Air Force is good at Just Bombing things till its dead or give up... not so good at Dog Fighting

@jobro71 - Also, the Navy doesn't have anything close to the F-22 right now until they get the F-35. You say "the speed is fast like an F-18 SH?" WTF? The F-22 can hit Mach 1 in level flight without lighting the afterburners. F-18SH is good but seriously, it would be a target to an F-22. I'm not here to get into a pissing contest on which branch is the best or worst. They all work together as a team for a common goal.

The Army, with the Marines also stormed some beaches in the Pacific together during WW2 (primarily Marines). Also, the Air Force has never needed or will need the Navy for anything. A B-2 can fly from the states (Whiteman AFB) to the Middle East, bomb their targets, and fly back to the states within a 24 hour period....nonstop.

the F-22 is bad grant it. the speed is fast like the F-18 super hornet, and without the Navy itd be hard for the air force.. Because if theres no bases around the air force jets have to use a air craft carrier. Without the Navy the Marines couldnt get to the place they have to. and if the Marines couldnt get to the places they need, we wouldnt of won WW2, because the Army wouldnt storm any beaches, so JeremyMoon learn your facts before talking trash
