Why was "under God" put in in 1954?
Maybe because there is a "God" and we recognize that God, which our country was built on the faith of that "God"!!

"I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
This is the pledge worded in August 1892 by Francis Bellamy (1855 - 1931). Free of State and or Religious influence. People seem to forget that we are a Republic. There is no offical language or religion

Unfair?? Maybe you should look into what someone believes and not just his policial career. Like I said Red Skelton should not be used for political use. Shame on you.

I've taken the time to read both of Senator Obama's books and I have done my research into Mr Obama's background, character and judgment. Additionally, he IS running for the highest political office in the land but, according to you we should not research or follow his political career? Also, unless you are Red Skelton reincarnated, just who the hell are you to be uttering shame on me? By the way, if you want to be taken seriously, spell Senator Obama's name correctly.

Adding Red Skeltons great interpretion of the Pledge of Allegiance to a political ad for Obanana or anyone else is a shame and was not the purpose of the orginal.

The fact that I even needed to make this video is the REAL shame! Maybe if questioning someone's patriotism wasn't part of the right wing's political discourse it wouldn't have been necessary. Someone works his entire life in public service, served as a state senator, is serving as a U.S. Senator and he has to have his patriotism questioned? Maybe you should pay as close attention to the unfair attacks that Senator Obama has had to put up with as you do to my YouTube videos.
