With the new realignment having the 2 eastern conferences having only seven teams, they should definitely bring back the nordiques and the whalers

The commentators in this clip were Fred Cusick, Derek Sanderson (a former Boston Bruins star of the 1960's and 1970's) and Dave Shea (who was between-periods host for Boston Bruins telecasts at the time and on home games, joined Cusick and Sanderson as a third commentator in the booth).

During the late 1980's, Cusick and Sanderson were regarded as one of the best announcing tandems in the NHL.

@elwino619 Really? That's why sometimes, in these video's, you'll see a ref with pen and paper during bench clearing brawls taking notes. The best ref of the 70's was Wally Harris who knew when to let them play while allowing no players bullshit on the ice. You mouthed of to Wally and BANG_ 10 min. misconduct and off the ice for the night. He even threw Orr out of a game; that tells you alot about the man!
