This is a bunch of tacky mcmansions built on a flattened hill overlooking one of the ugliest piers in California, at Sharp Park. That beach was destroyed by unregulated development decades ago, and seawalled. The commercial areas of Pacifica are a trainwreck from a civic planning perspective; much of it is butt-ugly strip malls. The beaches are polluted, there's a sewage treatment plant you'll be able to smell when the wind blows onshore (which it does 3/mos out of every year at least).
