This song was built into the organs' memory. Enjoy! This video was taken by me at my church, First Baptist Church of Greenwood, IN.

  • HI,

Could you please share the registration settings you used here? Please....I would really appreciate it. I also play the allegiant. Thank you in advance.

  • @codeman2008

They should lol. The issue is the PCUSA and UMC and UCC Hymnals changed some of the words, but kept the same hymn tunes. They modernized at least half of the words to the hymns (which I think is good, given that the church is trying to become a more progressive institution). I know the Episcopal hymnal is almost identical to the PCUSA one though, with some service music and added liturgy.

  • it's the church i grew up in, yes it is a cult and no i dont go there anymore.

  • your church is screwed up that's what the problem is....you sure your real church you sound like your in a CULT

  • i thot it was strange too, im glad im not the only one, they are a church, and yet they're anti-religious. it's weird.

  • WUT!!!

    That's just strange.

My church always sang hymns and were very strict against chorus because most of them had no Biblical backings. We did have an alter, but like most Baptist Churches the pulpit was in the middle of the "stage", since the sermon was the most important part of the service.

  • Beautiful arrangement! would your church ever actually sing this song? The Baptist church i grew up in didn't approve of hymns, only new chorus type songs with guitar. Ive also never seen a baptist church with an altar, they preached against that too, and said the pulpit had to be in the middle. i dunno, maybe the baptist church i grew up in was not ordinary baptist?

  • Good one. I remember this hymn (at least the tune) from my days of going to a United Methodist Church.
