they acted stupid in the early 90's. too hyper. in the beginning they kept dissing the white guy even though he helped them bring the guy to the hospital.

TOJ72 - I've been trying to find this clip - you got it right, just the other way. The coach had taped a dollar biil to the top of the backboard, and everyone tried to get it. That night, we see Bo Kimble on the court, we see him take off, and we see his stretched hand get the dollar. Then we see the top of his head crest above the backboard, and his eyes as he gracefully lays down four quarters in its place. That scene put shivers up my spine - good memory! I'm trying to find the clip!

This was a cool, fun movie. I don't know why the critics disliked it. What a great story!

@JPMartin5 ,yeah you're right, in the real story, it was about basketball in Brooklyn, New York, not in Chicago, but in Brooklyn New York, it was about the playground ballers in Brooklyn.

I love this movie. I found out some interesting tidbits about this film too. I found out that this was originally supposed to be made in 1987 and starring Michael Jordan (don't know which role he was supposed to take). I read this on the Google News Archive on some newspaper article on Jordan circa '87. I don't know what caused the film to be shelved until the 90's either but it would've been interesting to see who Jordan would've played in the movie.
