Patapon for PSP (early version, not final)

NOTE: This is an EARLY version of the game and thus different aspects in this video, like (lack of) music, text, interface, additional units, characters, etc. does not represent the final game. Please see the rest of this description.

Patapon for the PSP is a new game from Japan Studio, the studio involved with LocoRoco, along with French toy/graphic designer ROLITO and Japanese game designer Hiroyuki Kotani. The game is best described as a rhythm-based action where you can set up/equip the Patapon and command them via drum (along with the beat) to lead your little tribe to war. (along with some side minigames.)

It's better to try it out for yourself and download a demo on the PlayStation Store for free @ http://store.playstation.com/
By finishing the demo, you can save your status and get a demo-only 'Spear of Protection' item for use when you play the full game.

The game is now available in Japan, Europe, and just $19.99 in the US.

Note again that this video is one of the earliest videos released on the game back at the 2007 E3 expo. This was a very early build of the game in possibly it's beta stage and does not completely represent the final product...
