With dramatic styling, 600 (450 kW) horsepower, 560 lb.-ft. (760 N•m) of torque from its 8.4-liter (510-cu. in.) V-10 engine, Dodge Viper SRT10 continues to set benchmarks for an American sports car by offering extreme performance including 0-60 mph in less than 4 seconds, quarter-mile time in the mid 11-second range and 0-100-0 mph in 11-seconds flat. With the introduction of four new exterior paint colors, Dodge Viper SRT10 is now available in more than 150 paint and body combinations. Dramatic Viper design hallmarks, including deep-cut side scallops, swept-back fenders, lowered hood lines and the signature Dodge crosshair grille remain. A Premium Tan Interior Package is available on both Coupe and Roadster models and features premium tan Nappa leather seats, tan center console, lower instrument panel and door panels. On the Roadster model, the package includes a matching tan cloth convertible top. The 2009 Dodge Viper SRTs V-10 channels its power through a ZF Sachs twin-disc clutch that reduces rotating inertia by 18 percent, reduces clutch-pedal effort and improves engagement feel. Transferring power to the rear wheels is a heavy-duty six-speed manual transmission. Stopping power is another carefully developed part of the Viper SRT10 equation, with 14-inch brake rotors gripped by Brembo 44/40 dual-opposing piston calipers in the front and Brembo 42/38 dual-opposing calipers in the rear. This system results in a world-class braking performance of 60-0 mph in less than 100 feet. Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR is the ultimate purpose-built, street-legal track car. Its more than 40 lbs. lighter than the Dodge Viper SRT10 and offers race-ready hardware and competition tuning for optimal on-track performance.

What you are describing is exactly what supercars used to be... In the 80s. I wonder.. what prevents americans from building quality cars. Rolex, Designer shoes, villas by the sea. You have luxury options for rich people in every single aspect of american life except cars. Therefore somehow technology, styling, handling, build quality isnt for "real men" and were all sooo jealous of your dragsters and monster trucks. Meanwhile every rich american buy European supercars. Get over it.

@Janusha The viper was not made to be a luxurious European supercar like a Ferrari or Porsche, with hand stitched leather and gps and gizmoes like that, it was meant to be an actual super car not some pussy ass electronically controlled car. The viper is real, all haters can just stop hating, cuz that's the truth. Get over it.
