A progressive blogger recently commented on Lawson. This is what she had to say:
"I sure wish BJ Lawson was an absolute jerk. It would make it a whole lot easier to shove him aside as just another Republican. BJ, however is engaging, intelligent and respectful. He is the type of candidate who will enrich the discussion and strengthen the electoral process because he is willing to engage and educate."

What an embarrassment. Cho is rather childish for a 50-year old man. He is living proof that widsom does not always come with age. BJ blows him away every time they go head to head. I am voting for the 33-year old!

BJ tell them about our friend Adam Putnam who is younger than you and is a Repulican Congressman you went to school with. You don't have to be a certain age to be able to use common sense. This opponent is a joke without a punchline. He is not addressing any issues, only making foul attempts at personal attacks on BJ. Vote Lawson for Congress is you like honest upstanding Americans that stand for the will of the people.

Actually, before BJ Lawson was running, his opponent should have viewed him as a potential voter and should have answered the question on how he was going to beat the current democrat congressman.
