I somewhat disagree with the use of "desktop sharing". Desktop sharing requires everyone to have the same desk resolution, and results in large delays as information is sent as it happens. If the presentation is a ppt only then most web meeting software will allow uploading of the ppt and will download the presentaion to the participants ahead of time in the background providing a much smoother experience. I regularly run Webinars for my clients, and I captured one of your ideas While running an online meeting, have a second PC running to view the user experience to great effect this past Friday. What a simple and brilliant idea! I finally saw the level of delay being experienced by my webinar participants and was able to tailor my presentation to their visual experience.
