King made this statement shortly after attending a 12/09/10press conference in which he joined Congressman John Linder, Congressman Tom Price, Congressman Phil Gingrey and Congressman-elect Rob Woodall to call for passage of HR 25 in the 112th Congress.

Thanks for posting this. With luck, we can bring the FairTax to a vote in 2012 and amend the constitution so it'll remain. The FairTax will reduce our tax burden for several reason. The tax will be spread about a broader spectrum; illegals and criminals will finally be contributing. The majority of tax overhead (compliance costs, filing expenses) will be eliminated, which will lower retail prices. The tax gap will be reduced. All this and yet the poor will be totally untaxed.

In the fine print, Fairtax writer Neal Boortz admits (page 139 Fairtax The Truth) that a massive new tax comes with Fairtax sales tax on people. Under the Fairtax -- all city and state governments must pay massive taxes, on all they spend -- even on PAYROLL.

How will King tell Souix City they will have to pay 23% of their total budget to the federal

government?

Better have a few hearings on this farce first.
