How to draw Abarai Renji

***PLEASE READ***
Yo everybody. I haven't drawn in weeks, I've been busy. I've recieved a crap load of Renji requests, so to be kind I went ahead and drew him... Even though I HATE drawing him. The way I draw makes Renji very hard for me to draw. I don't really like the way it came out, so the shading is bad. I didn't put much time/effort into it. Sorry, just felt like I needed to explain this. I didn't like the original reference picture, so I tried to make my own adjustments to the picture to make it look more like Renji... I think I messed it up even more. Let me know if I DID mess it up, or if I'm just paranoid as fuck.

ANYWAYS ! Sorry for the delay in videos and the crappiness of this one. I'll try to get atleast one more tutorial up before the end up the weekend, since I'm busy during the week.

for Starters and i think most peoplle would agree Renji is BADASS, lol

youre drawing, well lets just say you can do better, like you said if you would have put more effort into it, but still it doesent mean this drawing sucks, infact its pretty awsome (like always -.-" ) any ill PM a pic i found of Renji ; ) ill talk about that further.

It's mainly just because I'm rusty right now :(. I'm busy with school and work, and I don't really have any spare time to draw anymore. The spare time I DO get, I normally spend it doing other things.

I either need to find more time to draw so I don't get rusty, or just stop drawing completely because putting up pictures like this makes me mad >_>...

your tutorials are good. i agree that the original pic doesnt look like him, the way his face is turned and his teeth make him look like Shinji. but u did a good job and i like to watch ur vids. Renji rules.. he does wear his hair down sometimes btw!!

Dude. Seriously? That's an AWESOME picture of Renji! He's like my fave character and you did a better job on him than I could ever do! I always make a shit up on his eyes,nose,mouth, chin. Well basically I mess up his whole face cos I can never get the chin shape right. I always start with the eyes on the character so I don't know if thats the reason why I go wrong or if I can't draw for crap XD
