Steve Tape, Crew Chief for Virgin Balloon Flights South West is also a gliding instructor for RAF 625 VGS Squadron based @ Hullavington, Wiltshire. This was my first gliding experience and I loved it! Many thanks to Steve and all the Cadets & Staff @ Hullavington.

i was stationed at Hullavington around68/69.. i used to go out with warrant officer strutts daughter CAROL.... anyone remember?  i was the guitarist phil saunders.. i was there at the time when the Yardbirds came with jimmy page.. great days..

only 1000ft was this a cross runway winch? and we always do it the other way at Aston Down IE take off on the runway and land on the grass,

@brownsellr08sd why would you puke? It's just a glider... even aerobatics are relatively light in a glider compared to other powered aircraft.
