@johnandlat True it is now ,but we also had great rap.Public enemy,Queen L, some rapper tried to help our race feel better about ourselves .They got to bring the love back.

The Gap band was pure awesomeness!!! They created a killer New Jack jam! .
Charlie Wilson's voice is incredible as usual. Those were the wonderful days of real music.

@tlig well everybody was doing it at the time, even stevie wonder and there were allot more producers involved in creating that style, like jimmy jam terry lewis, babyface, kashif etc etc, it's not like teddy riley invented it and they were biting his style, that's not fair to them.
