Realmente Hermoso, excelente ensamble!!!yo me enamoré de la música de Villa Lobos siendo una niña, cuando estudiaba guitarra clásica, apenas tenía 11 años, cuan me pusieron a Villa Lobos...Esta música me pone nostálgica, como dicen en portugués "Saudade"...Me hace recordar el preludio N° 3 de Villa Lobos para guitarra.. Felicidades!!!

"donzela" should be pronounced /dõnˈzɛlɐ/. /ɛ/ as in "bed".

Villa-Lobos "Bachianas Brasileiras no. 5" may be a difficult piece for singers, specially for the high notes, the words in Portuguese and the "bocca chiusa" ending. The musicians in this video are great - they give the piece the right mood. But the soprano is awesome: I don't know where she is from, but her Portuguese is perfect, quite understandable, she must be Brazilian - or a pretty dedicated singer. Congratulations!

Thank you! Dana is actually an American (I, Korean), but when we were learning this, I got one of my Brazilian friends to coach us speaking the text. It was my recital, so I wanted everyone on it to be as good as they can be!

It was performed at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston (in Williams Hall).
