For Mikey, because he loves it! (And he thinks I must be part Chinese because I make it so good!)

Having Chinese delivered is so expensive and they can never remember what I like to order, so I just learned how to make my own and I like it even better than the restaurant's.
BooYa! I'm saving money and eating my favorite dish anyway! Which, btw, couldn't have actually been Kung Pow Chicken and Shrimp because there wasn't any peanuts in the dish I loved so much. What I make here is close to what I ordered the first time and could never get again from that Chinese restaurant. (See my Menopause Sucks! video if you want to know the whole story.) Thanks people. Hope you like the recipe!

I think it helps the Menopause too. lol!

  • Riddlespider sent me. That stuff looks wonderful! We'll be making it in the wimpy version - less of the red peppers! :)

  • @thizizliz Oh good! Let me now how it turns out. Not many can take it as hot and spicy as I like it.

  • nice move to add the fish sauce into the recipe. It's a great MSG substitute;). But I would never use a non stick wok, secondly never use olive oil for asian cuisine. It doesnt handle the right heat temperatures, besides other vegetables oils that handle higher heat is more neutral in the flavor too.

  • @NattHrafn Thank you. I stand corrected.

  • Thanks for the tutorial! I never would have known what Oyster or Fish sauces even were...I would have thought, oh, you must use those for seafood. Silly me! Now I know some good sauce making secrets, I will try it soon!

  • Glad you liked it Jane. I think it's much better homemade because you can put exactly what YOU like and you know where everything came from. You can put as much or as little of something, you are in control, so it tastes just like you want it to. *smiles*

  • Dali G You have inspired me !!! I am going Asian Tonight :D Great job :D

  • that looks delicious!! =)

  • Thanks...you put so many kinds of vegetables in there and they all looked delicious. While I was watching, I thought, she's never gonna fit all that in that pan! But you did! haha. I need to lose weight and eat more veggies so I really do need to try this. I can't tolerate too much spicy, but it's still easy to make a milder sauce which I'm sure is still delicious. Thanks again.
