CODE FOR LIFE:

Beginning more than three and a half billion years ago, a tiny, primitive molecule encoded instructions deep within itself. Then it passed these instructions on to its children, who passed it to their children and so on - all the way down through time to all living things today.

The human genome, written in a code of just four letters, tells us who we really are - and that generates many questions!

Is this process of natural selection coming to an end? Should we choose the best that is in us for our children? If so, who gets to decide what is meant by "the best that is in us"? From amino acids in space to human genes in corn -- this is the story.

Porphyria could be a risk if a single mistake happens I mean It's just changing 2 enzymes in a specific gene, imagine that. The world is such a good place. Oh yes how about inserting that gene that makes one young again that immortal jellyfish have into humans and porphyria for your own vampire non-bloodsucking.

This was a Wonderful series. The one thing that made me crack up was when the Doctor told the couple that they would be able to create a disease free child that would be "NEAR" GENIUS. That meant that NEITHER PARENT had the ability to produce a Genius child.

SO WHY ARE THEY WAISTING THEIR MONEY!!!

The Kid would still be vulnerable to those who are Equal to, or smarter than him or her.

@WhoisJacqueFresco He was only naming various viruses. Just because he said ebola right before "1918 flu strand" doesn't mean he meant the flu came from ebola. How can you get flu from ebola anyway? Sure they have similar symptoms but the viruses are two different species. Ebola is ebola, flu is flu.

I guess he has his facts mixed up. The 1918 flu was not from Ebola, but bird viruses. Ebola is HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS AND DEADLY. The 1918 influenza created cytokine storm while Ebola affects your endothelial cells. You would rather die from the virus that attacks your immune system than Ebola.
