Joel and Tanya Smith opened Smith Woodworks and Design, a KraftMaid Cabinetry showroom in Augusta, GA, in 2001. Joel Smith has been in custom woodworking since 1975, building custom cabinetry, working on the world famous "Huckins Yachts", and building curved prototype furniture for Baker, Bernardt, and Henridon. The Smith's KraftMaid Cabinetry showroom provides a place for clients to come and dream of their future kitchen, bath, laundry room, etc. From the design process, to demolition, to construction, to your dream kitchen, Smith Woodworks and Designs has you covered.

Computer technology plays a very integral role at Smith Woodworks and Design. Our 20/20 Technologies design software allows us to insure efficient, accurate drawings, and 3-D renditions. The software offers state-of-the-art design, specification, photo-realistic rendering and three-dimensional visualization capabilities for your kitchen, bath, laundry room, office, playroom and more!
Why Kraftmaid? Because KraftMaid provides a custom look, with the widest selection of styles, finishes, storage solutions and decorative enhancements in built-to-order cabinetry all without the custom price or lengthy lead times.

KraftMaid offers a specially formulated sealer and topcoat. The smooth tough surface of DuraKraft finish is comparable to that of cars and major household appliances. Our topcoat is environmentally safe, yet provides exceptional resistance to scuffing, dents, and moisture and fading. Fingernail polish remover will not harm the finish to these cabinets.

Ninety percent of our jobs, if it is a full remodel of your kitchen or bath, is done in less than 6 weeks. We invite you to look through our Testimonials page on our website and talk with our homeowners about our workmanship.
