OR, people could just watch the show and look beyond colour and sex and enjoy it for what it is, light entertainment. Don't see why everything has to be an issue.

I was actually rooting for the Scouse girl because of the awesome accent, but I found Sophie just as cool, and I was lucky enough to catch her in the show :-)

I find all these shows are very much leaned towards finding a white lead they are never going to cast a black dorothy !

You have to look at the show as a whole and where it is set and the time its set. Maybe next time they could look for a Mary from Jesus Christ Superstar. Then you could also say its sexist this show because its the 3rd show they have looked for a woman and only one for a man (Maria, Nancy and Dorothy vs Joseph.)
