All these songs from Rio 83 are from a TV special made by Globo TV. They might even have the original tapes (as they have those of Rock in Rio 85, although Queen was the only band that authorized the release).

Gene in particular doesn't care for Vinnie. Vinnie, as talented as his was/is, wasn't an easy guy to work with. He got fired from his own band (VV Invasion), which became Slaughter. That's all you need to know about VV.

Probably because this is heavily edited. If the original, uncut version of this broadcast wasn't destroyed, I'm sure it would have been included.

Man I think KISS, actually dont like Vinnie. He made a tousands problems in group (also when dismissed). Like you can see on MTV Unplugged the masked manekins are only 5 - without Vinnie. So I think there we have a problem.
Also maybe they dont have a full materials of show to present it.

@KISSbestfan I dont think the unplugged had anything to do with it, they just wanted to have the current band and the original band. Gene says that vinnie was very self destructive and became a disturbance to the group( i also think he made problems with ace ) but the unplugged was just supposed to be the current band with all the original members too..

@TheBlayde1 For several years I didnt knew why Gene was angry at VV. Last year I read an article about Vinnie 1996 conventions, and I was pretty shocked. His last law problems are also a provement that he is just a bad guy ...
