what is it with people and electric bike videos insist on using eddy grant music?? checkout "electric bike trailer" video same thing, nothing new in the video, just more rich bike shop owners trying to ride someone elses bike ( I was testing it) thats gonna cost £1900 and the battery cost to replace in 18months on average is £650! I wanna see one that goes up a 25degree hill for a mile un-assisted !

@BR1GHT0NCH3MTRA1LZ2 - The battery only needs to be replaced every 4-5 years - depending on useage as its lithium instead of Lead! ours are not that pricey! I Took my Metro up both Highgate hill & High Barnet hill (the highest point in London) on the weekend - un-assisted and the look on driver's faces while I riding up with my feet in the air was priceless! "Rich bike shops" - ???? Why not come down for a test ride - we have a great bike in stock for only £639 this summer! PS. Eddy Grant Rocks!

@Stoory To be honest, I wouldn't recommend buying one. A personal reason is because those kits that convert your everyday bicycle into an ebike can be much more customized to your personal taste. I.E: Want to get a bike that lasts longer but doesn't go as fast? Get a 36v set up with a 36v ~30ah lithium battery, faster would be 48 volts at whatever amps you want, but it costs a lot less and in the end you will be faster, lighter, and longer lasting than any a2b.

I'm interested in buying one of these in the UK, and I wanted to see one in action on Youtube. But what Ive just seen on this video was someone who seems more interested in messing around with video effects than making a proper video for an apparently serious company. Heck I didnt even see how well the bike ran due to the freeze frame 'stutter' fx every few seconds. As someone who has edited videos for a living, my advice to you is to delete this video from Youtube and start again

@smartebikeUK Well thats more like it! thank you very much for the info, its alot of money & I am disabled and live on a big hill,I could get a little 50cc rev n go bike like all the rat pack round here for about £200 £300 would need to get licence and tax is cheap,petrol is very economical but i've gone right off Oil & BP! but then it needs storing as these motorbikes get stolen, much easier to roll the A2B inside my insured home, have you found any speed hacks for the A2B like the GoCycle?
