@paulisthebest3uk even the mains powerd smoke alarms have batterys paul ,a lithium recharchable battery incase of power failer the alarm would still sound if there was a fire the lithium battery needs replacing
-
@paulisthebest3uk whats that blip sound? souns just like a smoke alarm going out
-
@paulisthebest3uk even the mains powered ones have battery backup though dude and that constant blip is the low battery warning! It would do my head in!
-
20 years and still original harddisk?! Don't make em like that any more...
-
Paul you're a legend, get that smoke alarm battery changed though son don't want you sleeping through any fires.
Always enjoy your videos, they usually spark a forgotten memory.
This time it's of the old pc's we used to have in highschool.
Nice bit of Dizzy action also, bonus!

Please put a new battery in your smoke detector :)

talking abour batterys...
CHANGE THE ONE IN THE SMOKE ALARM!
Don't worry about the battery in your smoke alarm, mate. It's not as if you have loads of ageing electrical devices that are liable to start a fire around your house.

PS/2s were awkward systems. Some of them have ESDI drives in addition to the MCA slots, non standard case/PSU and a weird monitor standard for the higher resolutions.
Shame I threw out my OS/2 3.0 floppy disks.
Regarding the HD. You could maybe run Drivespace or similar. You like living dangerously, right?

@rhydermike lol already doing that, disk compression. Yeah this one has an ESDI hard drive which why it makes difficult me finding a bigger one, i think if i cant the other way round it is to get an MCA scsi or ide card, but even those are expensive.
