  • No talent assclown Justin Beiber gets 300 million views, yet this beautiful, talented artist who runs circles around him only has 146K. This can only mean 90% of the world is retarded

  • Notice how the pianist refuses the modern interpretation to convert the piece into a racetrack. That's not easy. All the notes are exposed so the uniform technique you hear coupled with her musicianship is really hard to achieve. Keep in mind too that this is an Impromptu. It means just that. I was disappointed to read comments about tempos and rubatos. Spontaneity must enter an impromptu or it's something else.

  • i like <3

  • I agree with those who laud the astonishing clarity and detail in her playing, as well as her extraordinarly sensitive and perfectly timed rubato, all of which is so brilliantly characteristic of the Russian school. This is only the fourth piece I've heard her play so far and I'm already looking forward to her future concerts and recordings. Among female pianists, she is now right up there with my favorite, including Helene Grimaud. Perhaps they might try out the Rachmaninoff two-piano suites.

  • great, hope she gets a great debut night.

  • ps, *catcall* *whistle* hehe sorry had to do it

  • @blupomodoro yeah I think it's a matter of the level of attention one devotes at the time. your heart has to be into it, which is of course a complicated matter, mind you. It's not how I would have interpreted it but commendable talent never the less. I haven't played the piano in a long while but I find that with the latest tool I am learning, the more you investigate, the better you get

  • I agree with the people who said it was too dry and too clean. it's Chopin, it needs that heavy (emo!) feel, so when the beautiful notes rise out of the mist, they are sparkling.. every note was too sparkling *__*

  • the amazing part of being a pianist is that you have to move your fingers like jello and learn to have a amazing posture and also go with the movement of the music. Lola plays this piece so eloquently and is very mesmerizing at the same time I have always wanted to learn to play the piano so she is very talented because Chopin is very challenging Way to go Lola !!!

  • I think Chopin if he never had a short life span he would probable become one of the most famous musician of all time. Imagine making an orchestra, She does chopin very excellent, I never seen some one who make it look so easy.
