I remember Balki was on a Stephen King tv movie, The Langoliers. He played an ass on it.

He did. I think Bronson's the only reason anyone would have to watch The Langoliers, though. He was pretty good in it.

From what I heard, and from his recent interview on TVLand, Bronson was bawling his eyes out backstage and was struggling to keep it together in front of the audience.

If you are wondering why they don't make shows like this anymore, the answer is simple. Look at who runs the television networks now! Shows of today have a hidden agenda: To brainwash the young generation into believing they have to be a certain way, have a certain job, dress a certain way, and have certain things in order to be "cool". Its ADVERTISING in disguise. Family values in today's shows are also pretty much non existent. Very sad.

They need to finish releasing the series on DVD. They release Seasons 1 & 2 in early 2008 and that's it.
