  • Long live super 8.

  • @pH4nTomPL4n3T Really nice to hear that. I find some that shoot digital want film completely removed. It's not good enough that both can co-exist. There is some real hostility out there towards it. Don't know why. Both are different - let them live. I'm still with Super 16mm. That's an amazing jump you made to 35mm.

  • This seemingly outdated format has been, and can continue to be, a stepping stone for aspiring filmmakers who desire to shoot on actual film; the medium they grew up on. I cut my teeth on Super 8, moved up to 16mm, and thanks to Craigslist, made the leap to 35mm... all for less than $1000, incl. 5 lenses. Yes, some misguided souls are going digital... but this is just the changing of the guard. Those magnificent old movie cameras are falling into new hands. A 35mm Renaissance is in the offing...

  • utter lies and crap..

tell me show me better footage than i was getting on film 10 years ago.

5293 in super 8 gave better results than this today and that stock is 5 film generations old.

you guys are sure make turgid promos clips and you could not even shoot something.so the stock is good cos you say it is cool..

  • Can this film be used in super 8 sound cameras?

  • err.... what would one do with super 8 negative? you can't really print onto a positive anymore

would you scan it in and invert the colors? seems like a bit of a pain...

  • what a boring ad

  • Thanks kodak - I think many films are gonna be made with this on super 8
