@sly1cool54 I think noone will tell Bear Grills he's a dork or a nerd. I'm a scout from slovenia too. I was always calssified as a dork for being a scout. I'm a leader now 12, a scout for 12 years and I don't regret even one day of it. I never met any better friends than the ones that I got in our scout group. Our uniforms show that we are in unison. We are all the same. Nomather race, class or age. We are all one group that sticks together. Btw. This video is very 80's :D. Be prepared!

I am proud to say not only is my son a Tenderfoot, but I have a daughter is is a Venture Scout and will stand up to anyone who has something to say about it. Scouting teaches life lessons, citizenship, and how to have some fun adventure.

Y is everyone putting down the BoyScouts?Im not classified as a nerd and im a Boyscout(Troop 161 btw)...just because they have a uniform...it is supposed to be like that because it is unique..when they see the uniform they think boyscouts...the point of boyscouts is to help others...if your not in boyscouts then you dont know how fun it is...there are alot of cool boyscouts...but people think just because they arent always the cooles and they have a uniform that their automaticly gay..idgi

Boy Scouts are nerds? I am an Eagle Scout and will proudly rep that organization for life. Joining scouts was by far one of the best decisions of my life.
And as far as being a nerd, I was selected as one of five males to be on my High School Homecoming court. Not trying to brag, just saying that if you do what you are passionate about you can make it cool.
If you are thinking about joining, don't hesitate.
