@xsummerawrx their voices changed so much not only because they grew up but because Zac wasn't singing in the first movie. In the first movies because Zacs voice was still changing, Drew Seeley Sang zacs part, but Zac did sing in the last two.

ya i dont get why they record the song before hand to lipsync it in the movie, like i understand the studio for the cd but cant they sing in the movie

They do it that way because its extremely hard to sing and dance at the same time, and one scene isnt shot just once, so it would be a big strain on their voices. It also gives a much better result when they lipsync. Its been done that way ever since the first Musical Movies were made.
