I'm saving this video - That 1/2 second of strike is SO important to remember in the 90% of times that you're using your line and sense of touch to set the hook instead of your eyes. Watch how he repositions his whole body to try and suck it up, and how he hits it about 3-4 times instead of opening and closing on it once like you see in pro underwater videos - Love the vid!!!
@JoeyMuzzazo One of my favorite parts about sight-fishing bass is taunting them! You can make a pressured/unresponsive bass strike hard on a lure that keeps tapping them or dancing around them after a few moments of harassment - And there's nothing more fulfilling than being able to watch them strike and get hooked up!
