There won't be any jobs here soon anyway, once the recession kicks in. The wages are already much lower compared to the cost of living than they've been in my lifetime, and it won't get any better while there's a large new labour force able to work for shit wages because there's a load of them sharing rent and bills. ...they were out of pork chops, and the Polish student politely and humbly said there were no more. I thanked him for his help and said I'd go look at another stand. 5 minutes later, not having made up my mind, my parents said, "Look!" I turned around and some pork chops had just come out, and the Polish guy was actually bringing me the first serving. We were all dumbfounded by his generosity. Maybe the Brits could use a lesson....

I've spoken with many different Poles, and they're actually a very nice group of people. Once I was on vacation in Colorado (that's holiday in case the Brits were wondering, ya know, not the public one), and there were Polish students working behind the counter on a special program. If any Brits have questions about the spelling, Merriam-Webster has an online version that corrected all the spelling mistakes that the Brits stubbornly maintain. Anyway....

@Baredamage Yeah, so true. I just wish the British would keep that in mind when they go to other countries. I heard of some British woman who went to Tunisia on vacation and went over to the breakfast buffet and started scooping podridge out with her bowl. How barbaric! I thought you were supposed to have us numbered with the civilization thing. It's not surprising though, considering the stories I've heard about British food. Let the immigrants open restaurants. I am Polish but I think 90% of Polish that working here shouldn`t be let to use the benefits system like working tax like child tax it`s became a Polish way of life here.

Sorry but when someone is comming to live in this country with one idea and it is benefits.

Polish self employed workers like plumbers or painters earn a lot money because they don`t pay all taxes they chets most of them are unable to speak english and they bringing here families with kids only for benefits
