Of course it figures that the white girl got dominated by the black girl. Black girls are faster that's for sure. That right hand punch she gave the blonde girl really stung because you see her holding her nose after it and the punch wobbled her legs. The blonde girl puts her left glove up to her nose after the punch. Her hair didn't only suffer but her nose as well. :) You can see some blood coming from her nose and she had the good sense to have a tissue wiping it as she is being talked to.

I would be surprised to hear that there was any public interest in seeing
women boxing in 1947, but who knows...
Quite entertaining watching the referee around 1:55, though.

Love it, thanks for great footage. I wonder what if the sport (for women) was legal even long befor then. I hear somewhere that there was a ban put on women's boxing back in 1947. They made a big mistake doing that, didn't they?
