if u like this stuff watch i think it is episode 1 or 2 of hamish and andys gap year. it is about to famous aussies comics goin to america. they go to one of these things and there is a legendary bird thing there which his heaps sacred or some crap. anyway hamish runs up and kills and all hell breaks loose. people were almost breaking down and wanted to physically hurt him. could probably see it here on youtube. bloody hilarious a must watch

What I find odd is the difference in quality when it comes to the actual gear, here in sweden people try to make it as realistic as possible, whilst in US people often seems to just want to do it for the fighting.

They don't actually believe they are really 'warrior folk' any more than Patrick Stewart believed he was captain of the Enterprise. They are exceedingly capable of getting into character, much like professional Hollywood actors, and the fact that they made you at least question their sanity is testimony to their talent for acting. It's basically the good side of the coin, the other side of which is those idiots who reenact their GTA games.
