Sacred Crucifix - Caelum Sperare

Sacred Crucifix is a Finnish Death/Thrash Metal band formed in 1987. They were originally by the name Criminal Assault. They released their first demo in 1988. Their second demo "Realms of Darkness" was released in 1989. There are rumors which say that Euronymous from Mayhem took the cover art of the demo and used it on Merciless' first album "The Awakening" which was released by Deathlike Silence Productions. They released various demos in 1990,1994,2003. Then they released their first album "Aeon of Chaos" in 2004. They made appearance on a split "Creatures from the North" with National Napalm Syndicate and Maple Cross. An EP "From Beyond To.." was released in 2008 with a real surprise as the last track of the EP. "Shallow Grave" was released in 2009 and received a good response,I recommend you to buy it.

They REALLY went Atheist on their last demo. They don't have the Atheist sound on their full-length of 2004 ,though =( What a shame . . .

Weren't there 2-3 Paraxism guys in the band during this demo. Cause the chorus melody is suspiciously similar to a melody in Paraxism's "Polyphony" song.
