Hey, I finally got around to making a custom pedal for Guitar Hero World Tour and I try to break it down and explain what is needed and how-to on building the electronics. If you have any questions please ask and I will answer asap.

  • You do have to consider that when I am showing the test to see if it works, I am doing it in song creator, but obviously everyone knows that it does not take calibration settings into effect since you can't calibrate real time audio/video. No way to anticipate what you are about to play and make it sound through the speakers before you even hit a note.

  • Thanks so much for posting this mod. I used the same materials and my method was the same save for one difference: I taped the plate/piezo to the bottom of the practice pad and put the foam on top of that. I don't forsee any problems with that set up at the moment.

    Thanks again.

    CONFIRMED!

  • I would love to see how it turned out! Just be careful that the piezo isn't in a position that it can be crushed. They are delicate.

  • nice made, but I will not risk my drums would break, but cool enough;)

  • This is something on it's own and does not use anything that comes with the game, so there no risk involved in making and using this with world tour.

  • Works excellent in play.

  • i made my own with a rock band pad haha

  • As long as your not slow its pretty damn close to the time.

  • Not if you are used to play real drums :)

  • just get the Portable Drum Set from Gamestop. $30.00 plus you can velcro them on your rb1 set.
