Saving money & Getting a bike

Some tips for the people who are trying to save up enough money to finally get a motorcycle. I figure since our lovely American economy is doing just swell this could apply to people that just plain need to save money! Thanks for the views, guys :)

Yeah I am! I'd really like to upgrade. The ninja is great to start on but I have been having the cravings for more power lately.

how long did it take you to start craving more?

i've never ridden a streetbike and i was looking at a ninja but i've ridden dirtbikes for a while now so i'm not completely new to the concept haha

would you recommend going straight to a 500 or 600 in my case?

I only got a 250 due to financial limitations and insurance being astronomically high for a teenage rider on a supersport (600+CC bike). I have put about 2000 miles on the 250 before I really started wanting a bigger bike.

and what if your 15... failed your freshman year in hs, get only 5 dollars for allowance a week... andddd you don't know what job to get that will definitely get you the bike you want when you turn 16 or 17...(I want a 2008 Suzuki gsxr 600)

It's all a matter of what u believe you limitations are... A 500cc twin would be good, 650cc awesome starter, when u get into your inline 4s man, your talkin about 100+ hp... Really quick bikes man... I'd suggest a 650 and up vtwin bc they're just great and you dnt have to worry about slipping on the throttle an the bike taking off from underneath you...

OMG I USED TO GO TO EXTREME COMPUTERS ALL THE TIME!!!! I used to play alot of computer games, now i just play a few on my home pc, im buying a bike soon, maybe ride with you sometime.
