In 1973 my best friend was doing qualudes going about 100 mph in his Corvair Monza on 202 right here & ended up going down the RR tracks toward the old Forest Park. He somehow exited before the car got airborne & the car SMASHED itself against one of the towers that held the catanery. He had dropped off a friend earlier but told the cops that the friend had been in the car when it wrecked. The cops had to call the friend's parents to say their son had been in a crash & they couldn't find him!
