@BjornGranum Hi - I used 1" inside diameter white pvc pipe. The pipe walls are 1/8" thick so I don't think the rope will hurt them at all. The kids and I have used them quite a bit - lots of fun.

Thanks for the vid. Saw the vid and made a pair. 6 rungs each. It took about an hour total after cutting all the rungs and sanding them a little.

@afredus Nice! No problem! Did you use pipe for rungs? Let me know if you get any issues with them eating into the ropes. My handles deform a bit at the ends from the rope, but so far they hold up just fine.
