Mendelssohn Organ Sonata 1 in f minor, recorded by Neal Marple on 16 January 1993 on the great Skinner organ at The Cathedral of St. John the Divine, NY, NY, USA.

Recorded using a portable Sony DAT with a single stereo microphone placed in the center of the choir.

  • Bravo!

  • Very good performance!

  • bella esecuzione

  • The sound quality is excellent considering a portable DAT recorder and a single stereo mic was used. I wonder how much (if any) compression is used in the transfer from the DAT master to the YouTube server...
