Mascara BULLSH!!!!!T

Wouldn't it be nice in an ideal world that we could just believe everything we hear - because its true. That companies - regardless of the size - wouldn't lie. But they do. They mislead - they mislead us in to believe exaggerated claims that they can do a a whole host of things from growing our lashes to making them look like we have MILLIONS OF THEM.

A good mascara should lengthen, thicken and make your lashes look longer and "blacker". Thats about it really. And there is nothing wrong with that.

We don't need false claims - what we need are better applicators and more control of the actual mascara that comes out.

Does anybody know where to get the disposable "little balls of pain"? Haha. I live in the U.S. and my favorite is Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black but I hate the way it clumps so maybe the ball wand will help. Thank you! Monique

Would you be able to suggest any United States drug store mascaras? The more I'm learning about makeup and the products I'm using, I'm noticing what I do and don't like with certain products. I'm looking for the perfect mascara lol! Not one that dries out, flakes, isn't really 'waterproof' like it says, etc. Thanks so much!!!

lash stiletto or whatever in the red bottle has a ball appllicater too i think its loreal or maybelline but its really good!

THANK you for your honesty and I believe the same thing. I have short and few eyelashes. My lashes also are not curled (curse in the family lol) and I find the old mascaras worked better than the new ones. I find the new ones greasy and they don't stick to my eyelashes. The wands are also really huge...as wide as my eye... definitely NOT what I need. thanks for posting !!

i bought a mascara after trying it on with a disposable wand. my eyelashes never looked better. when i used the brush it came with, they were clumpy and not defined. i was so dissapointed.

Everytime I see a commercial for thicker, longer and lustrous lashes, all I can say is "false advertising". The moment you buy the product that they market on television, you try it out and the results are absolutely zero. I swear that when I see these commercials, the models are, to begin with, wearing fake eyelashes before putting on mascara (which is why we presume they are longer). I go with my gut instinct to buy what I can to create nice lashes for myself.
