@saiiad737 Bits are the quality of the sound and graphics, 4 bit are the lowest measurable bits, they ran with Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, Colecovision, Intellivision and the other consoles of the time. (of course the odyssey was even lower, but it was unmeasurable.) 8 Bit are the NES and it's competitors, low quality graphics and sound. 16 Bit is SNES and the Sega Genesis, in my opinion, this was where gaming was at it's prime. If you noticed a pattern, you're guess is right, it doubles every time.
