May 22nd, 2011 ROCKFORD, IL Storm/Tornado/Microburst W. State and Springfield Avenue

I hopped in my car at W. State and Royal. I headed west. i saw the storm moving in fast, by the time I got to springfield avenue, i saw vertical ran headed north, then bam! it was pouring and hailing. I took a left onto springfield and saw a power box with electricity exploding. I went down further and took a right on cunningham.

I live in Gurnee, we had some crazy clouds if you looked at the video I recorded. A few funnels were forming, but never made it. Crazy storm!!
