Frontiers runs an alternative curriculum for disadvantaged British teenagers who are disengaged from education. See www.frontiers.uk.net for more info. They are running an expedition to work in a Bulgarian orphanage, near Plovdiv, to pass on the skills they have learned in the UK, and give the orphans a better chance in life. This slideshow covers the setting up of a house built near Plovdiv, to be used as a base to teach orphans. The house was in a poor state with an overgrown garden. Students cleared the garden and built showers and toilets.
